FUNDACION MIRA’M DE LA COMUNITAT VALENCIANA

Fundació Mira’m is a leading and distinctive organization dedicated to driving social transformation. We provide support, resources, and opportunities for individuals with autism and their families, empowering them to take control of their own lives within an inclusive society.
With this evolutionary purpose in mind, we design and develop resources and support systems that enhance the quality of life not only for people with autism but also for the broader community. We foster a society where individuals requiring greater support can thrive, with their dignity and rights fully recognized and respected.
We are firmly committed to building a society that offers opportunities for personal growth and social participation, enabling individuals with autism to achieve personal goals and live meaningful lives. Our approach prioritizes respect for autonomy and active engagement in both public and private spheres of citizenship.
Founded in 2004, the organization emerged from the shared vision of professionals and families of children with autism, driven by the goal of improving their quality of life. Today, Fundació Mira’m operates three resource centers in the province of Valencia, providing support and guidance to more than 300 individuals with autism across various stages of the life cycle.

MIEDZYNARODOWE PRZEDSZKOLE EDUKACJI INNOWACYJNEJ “TECZOWY SWIAT DZIECKA”

The International Kindergarten for Innovative Education ‘Children’s Rainbow World’ for pupils aged 2-6 years is a place where a high level of education, upbringing and care results from an individual approach, observation and development of the child in the physical, mental, emotional and social spheres. It provides an environment that is safe for children and trustworthy for parents. It is open to all cultures and promotes tolerance, cross-cultural awareness and integration. The kindergarten belongs to the group of Schools of Innovative Education.

DEUTSCHE SCHULE ATHEN

The German School of Athens (DSA), established in 1896, is one of the oldest German Schools Abroad, supported by the German Federal Republic. It offers a bilingual, intercultural education in German and Greek, fostering connections between cultures.

A hallmark of the DSA is its designation as a “Begegnungsschule” (school of encounters), serving as a vibrant meeting place for Greeks, Germans, Austrians, Swiss, and bicultural families. The school emphasizes teaching both German and Greek language and culture, creating a unique blend of traditions under one roof.

The DSA serves 1,120 students from over 15 nationalities, spanning kindergarten (ages 3-6), elementary school (grades 1-4), and Gymnasium (grades 5-12). Starting in preschool, students learn both German and Greek, preparing them for recognized German school qualifications, including the German International Abitur (DIA).

Kindergarten at DSA
The kindergarten and preschool programs are a cornerstone of the DSA, welcoming children as young as three. About 75 children attend the kindergarten, guided by 14 experienced teachers and educators under the leadership of Gabriele Wensky since 2012. This nurturing environment fosters early bilingualism and intercultural understanding through play-based and structured learning.

Academic Excellence and Recognition
The DSA meets high-quality standards, as confirmed by the Bund-Länder-Inspektion (BLI) inspections, earning the title “Excellent German School Abroad” since 2011. Graduates are well-prepared for universities and apprenticeships worldwide.

The DSA is operated by a non-profit school association and funded through school fees, donations, and German government support via the Central Agency for Schools Abroad (ZfA).
